(The following exerpt is found on the website linked at the bottom)

Glenn Smith was an ex-rodeo professional and rancher. Ministering the Gospel with a western flavor, Glenn was ordained to full time ministry in the early 1970s. Preaching and teaching the uncompromised Word of God, Glenn and his wife, Ann, traveled throughout the United States and many other countries. He was president of Rodeo Cowboy Ministries (aka International Western World Outreach Center Inc.), which has offices in Australia and Mexico, besides the central office in the Midland, Texas.

With special emphasis on the western world, Glenn pioneered many cowboy church services and camp meetings, including those at the National Finals Rodeo and the World Cup Rodeo in Australia.

Glenn was the original founder of West Texas Church at the Barn when it met originally at the Lubbock Stockyards located on South University Avenue near FM 1585. In 2003, Ted and Jan Currington became the sole pastors of WTCB and the church moved to the current location in 2005. The church building expanded to its current size in 2009.
